We haven't spoken in a while, but I still check this site every so often. It baffles me that you still haven't found anyone yet. Do you feel like you're a victim of circumstance or is it more about having a hard time opening up to people? Or maybe I'm just completely off-target.

Great post, Chris! :D

Your cosmos and appletinis *were* awesome. I think I polished off way more than my fair share. And that was after draining quite a bit of VUBOQ's blueberry-infused gin. :)

I can assure you that you don't need to wear "tight clothes" to look thin and fit. And you could have worn *any* swimsuit, even a "little gay" one. In fact I can honestly say you could have "pulled off" (as you put it) any swimsuit you wanted and nobody would have complained :)

Craig's parents and sister were absolutely awesome. His dad grilled up an EPIC amount of food for us. And all of them were incredibly gracious hosts. I honestly can't imagine a cuter or more apt description of Craig than "huge hunky hospitality elf, with sexy legs in place of pointy ears" :)

I can't say I see the resemblance between Nathan and Captain Jack: plus Captain Jack is about 20 years older than Nathan -- and although John Barrowman is still gorgeous those of us who were on Fire Island know that even 27 is "way too old" for Nathan ;-) He is, however, as John once said, "easy on the eyes". With or without shirt.

Anyway, it was great seeing you again and I'm really glad you made it to the party, late or no!! :D

I've been in love, fell out of it and will look to find it again in the future. It will happen for you too Chris. I think of this time as me figuring out myself: what I need, where I am going, what I want to do. I'm happy to figure that out first, because when I do find that person, I will be more confident in knowing if they are the right person to come with me.

Welcome back to blogging, yet again. I hope that doesn't sound ridiculous. Your posts are always great, no need to wait so long. I have a very standard gps. It's a magellan. I call her Madge, after the queen, Madonna. Much like Madonna, you never know where she will take you but the journey is always interesting.
